Kufstein Austria
Kufstein is a cute town located in northern Tyrol on the river Inn. It is just a few kilometers far from the German border on the Munich - Innsbruck - Brennero highway.
It is located, along the river Inn, in the lower Inn valley, near the border to Bavaria, Germany. It has about 25.000 inhabitants, spreads over 39.37 kmē and is at an elevation of 499 m above sea level.
Kufstein is the second largest city in Tyrol and capital of the district (Bezirk) Kufstein. The greatest landmark of Kufstein is the fortress, which was first mentioned in the 13th century.
